Jessica is an experienced arts educator in the Pittsburgh area. Having a passion for contemporary and culturally relevant approaches to arts education, it is her goal to provide opportunities to students that encourage and inspire art making in all of its forms.

Jess, currently involved with several informal arts and education organizations throughout Pittsburgh, has experience working in many types of settings including traditional K-12 music education, community and informal learning spaces, museum education, private music instruction, dance and musical theater group classes, and higher education. Her teaching philosophy incorporates maker and aesthetic education principles, organic art processes, informal learning theory, as well as state & national arts standards.

Additional skills and experiences include: curriculum development, lesson planning, research, customer service, public speaking, and organizational communications.
